Nucleum

Description

Step into the industrial boom of 19th-century Saxony, where innovation and science collide in Nucleum — a deep strategy board game designed by Simone Luciani and Dávid Turczi. As an ambitious industrialist, you will harness the power of the revolutionary Nucleum reactor, fueled by uranium, to lead Saxony’s rise as a scientific and economic powerhouse.
In this heavy eurogame, players compete to build and manage atomic nuclei by strategically placing colorful tiles that represent protons and neutrons. Every decision impacts the stability and strength of your nuclei, requiring smart resource management, tactical planning, and precise timing to maximize points and outsmart your rivals.
The game combines challenging puzzle mechanics with intense strategic depth, offering a fresh take on classic eurogame design. With elegant components and stunning artwork by Andreas Resch, Nucleum immerses players in a richly themed experience where science, industry, and innovation shape your path to victory.
