Description
Star Trek Catspaw Enterprise Miniature Prop Replica:
“I would advise you to cooperate, Captain.” – Sylvia
Transport yourself back to one of Star Trek: The Original Series’ most memorable episodes – “Catspaw” (1967) – with this highly detailed replica of the miniature U.S.S. Enterprise used in the episode’s spooky practical effects.
Two different miniature Enterprise props were crafted for “Catspaw.” Both were machined from aluminum; Prop A was encased in clear acrylic and Prop B was not. This is a replica of Prop B, famously featured in the scene where the alien witch Sylvia uses it to torment the crew by holding it over a candle flame. As the miniature prop heats up, the temperature aboard the Enterprise skyrockets.
Due to its delicate design and aluminum construction, the original prop was prone to bending. Careful viewers will notice slight distortions in the miniature on-screen.
Factory Entertainment has gone to extraordinary lengths to faithfully reproduce this iconic miniature. Created with the assistance of a leading Catspaw prop historian and machinist, ensuring maximum screen accuracy. Each replica is machined from solid stainless steel for increased strength, durability, and lasting display quality. Includes a custom display base, perfect for showcasing this eerie moment from Trek history.
Whether you’re a Star Trek collector, a fan of vintage sci-fi effects, or simply appreciate high-quality prop replicas, this piece is a hauntingly beautiful tribute to a unique moment in Trek lore.
For your safety (and the general wellbeing of any bewitched Starfleet crew) please do not dangle this replica over any open flames.
Product comes with a numbered COA (Certificate of Authenticity) and Prop story booklet. Ages 18 and up
